PM Shehbaz Sharif, Saudi Crown Prince discuss bilateral ties, Gaza situation

During the event, PM Shehbaz Sharif engaged in discussions with the Crown Prince and commended the Saudi leadership for the successful organization of the WEF Special Meeting and the impeccable arrangements. They delved into the Gaza situation and the bilateral relations between the two Islamic nations.

The PM expressed his well wishes for the health and longevity of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Apart from bilateral ties, they also addressed regional issues, particularly focusing on the crisis in Gaza.

PM Shehbaz Sharif extended an invitation to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to visit Pakistan at his earliest convenience. Furthermore, he stated Pakistan’s healthcare challenges during the WEF discussions.

Reflecting on their recent meeting in Makkah during Ramadan, the PM thanked the Crown Prince for dispatching a high-powered delegation led by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah. This delegation engaged in extensive talks with Pakistani counterparts on boosting Saudi investments in Pakistan.

To further these discussions, the PM brought along a high-powered delegation to Riyadh, including key ministers responsible for investment, facilitating follow-up meetings between relevant officials.
