PM Shehbaz Sharif will travel to Saudi Arabia at own expense: Tarar

On Friday, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, confirmed that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to depart for Saudi Arabia on Saturday, which is tomorrow.

According to the minister’s statement issued on Friday, this trip marks the first foreign visit of the prime minister since assuming office on March 4th. Tarar mentioned that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will travel via commercial flight, and he and his delegation will cover their own travel expenses.

During his anticipated three-day visit to the kingdom, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to engage in meetings with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, focusing on various projects and collaborations.

Accompanying Prime Minister Sharif will be Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, and other officials.

In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stressed the enduring fraternal relations between Pakistan and KSA, which are deeply rooted in religious and cultural affinity.
