PML-N power show in Pindi Sans Nawaz, Maryam

With the Pakistani elections fast approaching, the PML-N is getting ready for a big Rawalpindi rally today, but Nawaz and Maryam Nawaz are noticeably missing.

Shehbaz Sharif will be the event’s leader, but inspiring supporters will be difficult without the party’s senior leaders present.

The event will take place at the historic Liaquat Bagh, and local party leaders are worried about the implications of Nawaz and Maryam’s absence.

In spite of this, the district government has approved the rally and imposed stringent security measures, such as designated parking zones and traffic diversions.

A thorough traffic plan has been provided by the City Traffic Police to control the influx of participants and minimize any disruption to the regular flow of the city.

Expectations are high as PML-N seeks to prove its durability in Rawalpindi, a city once considered its stronghold.
