PML-N’s election campaign to kickstart from January 15

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has announced that their election campaign will begin on Wednesday, January 15.

Rana Sanaullah, the current President of the PML-N Punjab, indicated that Nawaz Sharif will head the party’s election campaign, starting on January 15.

In response to rumors regarding internal party disagreements over ticket allocation, Sanaullah said that party deliberations for specific seats were underway.

“The party will issue the final list of its candidates in coming one or two days,” he said. Additionally, he claimed that the party has always highlighted its desire for an open and timely electoral process.

Notably, the general election calendar is nearing completion, with today (Wednesday) being the deadline for hearing challenges against the acceptance or rejection of nomination papers by appellate courts. On January 11, the amended list of candidates will be released.
