PTI leader Waheed Murad joins PML-N ahead of upcoming elections

Waheed Murad, a leader from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), officially joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Wednesday in preparation for the upcoming elections scheduled for February 8.

Murad expressed his complete trust in the leadership of PML-N head Nawaz Sharif.

This move follows the inclusion of various prominent leaders, including former Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal and their associates, who have recently aligned themselves with the PML-N.

In a separate announcement, the PML-N unveiled the schedule for public gatherings leading up to the upcoming elections.

Nawaz Sharif is set to address gatherings in Burewala and Abbottabad on January 26 and January 27, respectively.

Additionally, the former prime minister will speak to workers in Rawalpindi on January 27, while both Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif are scheduled to address the public in Sialkot and Daska on January 28. Shehbaz Sharif will also speak at a gathering in Rajanpur on January 29.

Further engagements include Nawaz Sharif addressing public gatherings in Bahawalnagar and Swat on January 30 and February 1, with a rally planned in Faisalabad on February 1. Nawaz Sharif will conclude the series with public gatherings in Kasur and Gujranwala on February 5.
