PTI seeks rally permission for March 23-24 in Islamabad

Amid preparations for a significant rally in Islamabad, PTI leader Amir Masood Mughal has formally requested permission from the Islamabad district magistrate for a gathering scheduled on March 23 and 24. Mughal, a notable figure in Islamabad’s political landscape and a contestant in the recent elections from the NA-46 constituency submitted the application outlining the proposed rally details.

The application specifies three potential venues for the rally: D Chowk, F.9 Park, and Parade Ground. Emphasizing the importance of allowing gatherings at any of these locations, Mughal highlighted the need for flexibility in venue selection to accommodate the expected turnout and ensure the smooth conduct of the event.

In the application, Mughal said the rally intended to address pressing issues and mobilize public support. However, acknowledging logistical constraints, the request includes a contingency plan. If approval for March 23 proves unfeasible, Mughal has proposed rescheduling the meeting to March 30, ensuring that the rally proceeds as planned without undue delay.
