Lahore: The Lahore High Court has ordered the Punjab government to present details of the decision regarding wheat procurement.
Justice Shahid Kareem heard Advocate Farhat Mansoor Chandio’s request against the Punjab government’s refusal to buy wheat from farmers.
The Lahore High Court stated that the court would not interfere in the government’s policy matters and directed the Punjab Cabinet to inform the court about the decision regarding wheat procurement in the next hearing.
