Punjab govt further reduces roti price

The Punjab government has announced a further reduction in the price of roti, with the new price of plain roti set at Rs 14, effective from tomorrow.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz took to Twitter to inform about the decrease in roti prices.

In her statement, Maryam Nawaz mentioned that the price of roti has been fixed at Rs 12 to Rs 14 in various cities. In Lahore, the price of plain roti has been set at Rs 14.

According to the notification issued, roti will be sold at Rs 14 in Nankana Sahib, Sheikhupura, Sargodha, Jhelum, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, and Murree.

Similarly, in Gujranwala, Gujarat, Narowal, Sialkot, and Wazirabad, roti will also be available at Rs 14.

In Okara, Rajanpur, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Hafizabad, Kasur, Multan, Wahari, Chiniot, Khanewal, Lodhran, Mandi Bahauddin, Mianwali, Sahiwal, and Khushab, the price of roti has been set at Rs 14.

In Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Kot Addo, and Leh, bread will be available at Rs 12.
