Rupee faces slight dip against Dollar

The Pakistani rupee experienced a marginal dip against the US dollar, depreciating by 0.14 percent during inter-bank trading on Tuesday.

Around midday, the rupee was trading at 279.20, marking a decrease of Re0.40 in the inter-bank market.

On the previous day, the rupee had also seen a depreciation against the US dollar, ending at 278.80.

In the past week, the interbank exchange rate for the dollar had seen a notable overall increase of more than Rs1.19 and had concluded the week at Rs278.80.

The US dollar’s value has maintained relative stability compared to the Pakistani currency, following five consecutive weeks of decline.
