Gas supply interruptions in Quetta, Balochistan, are expected as a result of a pipeline rupture in Bolan, according to Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL).
The reason of the pipeline explosion is being investigated, and a crew has been dispatched to Bolan to repair the damaged pipeline. This disruption in gas delivery adds to the difficulties encountered by Balochistan inhabitants during the winter season, when access to gas is critical for heating in cold conditions.
Meanwhile, gas designated for residential users in Karachi is being rerouted to fertilizer factories, leaving millions of houses without enough warmth.
