Savera Nadeem, one of the finest actresses of Pakistani drama industry, has grown very choosy over time. Despite having appeared in several blockbuster dramatic works such as ‘Janjaal Pura’, ‘Saawan’, ‘The Ghost’, ‘Diya Jale’, ‘Qaid-e-Tanhai’ and ‘Mera Saaein’, Savera Nadeem has lately distanced herself from the drama industry, making special appearances in selected few projects only, such as ‘Kitni Girhein Baqi Hain’, ‘Nibaah’ and ‘Mere Pass Tum Ho’.
However, there’s good news for her fans as she is all set to appear in a thriller drama serial this time. Titled as ‘Wehem’, it has been written by Imran Nazir who is already known for having penned multiple serials incorporating mysteries, spiritualism and even black magic issues such as ‘Mohabbat Aag Si’, ‘Mehboob Ap Ke Qadmo’n Mein’ and ‘Kashf’.
To go on air soon, ‘Wehem’ has been directed by Adnan Wai Qureshi and stars multiple other notable performers such as Kinza Hashmi, Zaviyar Nauman Ijaz, Babar Ali, Shamim Hilali, Tara Mehmood, Adnan Gulzar and Hurriya Mansoor.
According to the makers, it’s “a gripping and thrilling new drama” which is all set to hit the television screens, and the trailer also promises a lot of suspense for the viewers, offering them something new to feed on other than cousin marriages and saas-bahu issues.
