The Seraiki Professionals Forum has called for a judicial inquiry into an alarming rise in target killings of Seraiki workers in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Professor Dr Abdul Jabbar Khan, the patron of the Seraiki Professional Forum, emphasized the need for immediate action to address the ongoing violence against Saraikis.

In a statement, Professor Dr. Abdul Jabbar Khan condemned the target killings as blatant acts of terrorism, stating that such incidents are on the rise. He highlighted the peaceful nature of the Saraiki community in Pakistan but expressed worry about the continuous planning and execution of target killings in regions like Balochistan, Dera Ismail Khan, and Waziristan.

“No one will be allowed to commit genocide against Seraikis, and we must protest at every forum against these heinous acts,” declared Professor Dr. Abdul Jabbar Khan. He criticized both federal and provincial governments for their failure to ensure the safety of Saraiki lives and property, terming it a matter of grave concern.

The Saraiki Professionals Forum officials urged the central government to take immediate action, including the removal of Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti from office. Additionally, they call for financial aid to be announced for the families affected by the tragic incidents. The Forum vows to continue its protests until justice is served and the security of Saraiki workers is guaranteed.
