Session judge kidnapped from DI Khan found safe

The Counter Terrorism Department has confirmed that Session Judge Marwat has been safely recovered and has returned home unharmed. This follows his abduction by unknown assailants last week near the borders of Tank and Dera Ismail Khan. Despite the ordeal, his guard and driver were left unharmed, albeit his vehicle was set ablaze during the incident.

Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, the Information Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, extended his congratulations to the judge upon his safe return. He stated the collaborative efforts of the provincial government and armed forces in their ongoing battle against terrorism, acknowledging the significance of their joint commitment to security.

In response to the abduction, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur swiftly took notice of the situation and directed the Inspector General of Police to take immediate action.

A comprehensive search operation was launched to locate and recover Shakirullah Marwat. Gandapur strongly condemned the incident, labeling it as highly regrettable and vowing to utilize all available resources to ensure the judge’s safe return.

Furthermore, CM Gandapur asserted that those responsible for the kidnapping would face severe consequences, reaffirming the government’s unwavering stance against such criminal acts.

He assured the public that every effort would be made to bring the perpetrators to justice and prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
