Shah Rukh Khan was hospitalized at KD Hospital in Ahmedabad on May 22 due to dehydration, as confirmed by medical professionals there.
The incident occurred after his attendance at a playoff match between KKR and SRH in Ahmedabad the previous day.
Following the match, he stayed at the ITC Narmada Hotel where he received a warm welcome.
His health deteriorated the next morning, prompting his admission to the hospital around 1 pm.
Currently, he is in stable condition and has been advised to rest. Family members and close associates, including his wife Gauri Khan, businessman Jay Mehta, and actor Juhi Chawla, visited him at the hospital.
Ahmedabad, like many other regions in India, has been grappling with high temperatures, with the city experiencing around 45 degrees Celsius, leading to a red alert issued by the Meteorological Department.
