In the International League T20 (ILT20), veteran fast bowler Muhammad Amir expressed his joy at playing with Shaheen Shah Afridi in the same team.
The two demonstrated their cricketing abilities for the Desert Vipers against the Gulf Giants, playing international cricket together for the first time since 2020.
Shaheen Shah Afridi made a great debut in the ILT20, taking three key wickets and giving only 22 runs in his four overs. Meanwhile, Mohammad Amir took one wicket for 27 runs, establishing them as a deadly bowling duo.

Likewise, Amir agreed with Shaheen’s comment, saying that, “as soon as a couple of overs pass, the batsman gets set, and then it becomes difficult to get him out, but the communication between the two of us was good because we had played together before.”
