Shireen Mazari’s daughter Iman Mazari has stated on twitter that police had forcibly taken her mother. She also stated that she was dragged on floor while she was trying to stop the illegal act because Shireen Mazari was on bail.
I went to Secretariat Thaana and heard her screaming in there. Male officer beat me and dragged me on the floor. They are now shifting her.

On the other side, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has restrained the police from arresting PTI leader and former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry in an undisclosed case.
IHC Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb heard the bail plea of Fawad Chaudhry. The court rejected the objections to Fawad Chaudhry’s petition.
During the hearing, the court said that it had asked the Advocate General about the details of the cases, who had told about two cases against Fawad Chaudhry. The court said that the arrest under 3MPO has been declared illegal and a protective bail has been granted by stopping the arrest for two days.
IHC said that the objection of the registrar’s office for not attaching a copy of the FIR was removed.
Fawad Chaudhry’s lawyer requested the court to order that Fawad Chaudhry should not be arrested in any case and the investigating officer should be summoned.
The court said that either they would issue an order, or adjourn the hearing for an hour, to which Barrister Gohar said that it would be more appropriate to pass the order.
Fawad Chaudhry remained present in Islamabad High Court, awaiting written decision. Earlier, when the PTI leader tried to go home after securing bail, police had arrived to arrest him again. Fawad had to run back to the courtroom to avoid the situation.
