Supreme Judicial Council receives complaint against Lahore High Court chief justice

Islamabad: A complaint has been filed against Chief Justice Lahore High Court, Shehzad Ahmed Malik, in the Supreme Judicial Council.

The Judicial Council received the complaint on May 29, sent by Rafiqat Ali Tanoli via post, which also refers to a road accident.

The application sent to the Supreme Judicial Council alleges the use of influence in a military case against the Chief Justice Lahore High Court.

It should be noted that a case regarding this matter is also under hearing in Islamabad High Court.

The judge in question had criticised the establishment’s interference in judicial matters. His remarks had attracted nationwide attention.
