Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu made headlines recently for her low-key wedding with long-time partner, Danish badminton player Mathias Boe, after eleven years together.
The couple tied the knot on March 23, 2024, at Udaipur Palace, eschewing extravagant celebrations and keeping their nuptials away from social media.
In an interview with HT, Taapsee revealed her strategy for maintaining the secrecy of her wedding.
She explained that she opted for attire designed by her college friend, Mani Bhatia, instead of a well-known designer to minimize the risk of leaks.
Taapsee also discussed her choice of traditional Punjabi attire over trendy pastel lehengas, drawing inspiration from her upbringing and classic Bollywood weddings, citing Kajol’s iconic look from “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.”
Taapsee shared details about her outfits for the various wedding events, including bell-bottom styled pants with bling for the sangeet and traditional Punjabi saggi phull for the wedding.
