Taliban confirms the arrest of one person who attacked Pakistani diplomat

Taliban Interim government spokesperson Zabiullah Mujahid via Twitter has revealed that the attack on Pakistan mission Chief Ubaidur Rehman Nizamani in Kabul was organized by ISIS and rebels.

Islamic State spokesperson also revealed that the special forces of the Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan have arrested the person who fired at a Pakistani official on Friday.

As per Zabiullah the accused person is a citizen of a foreign country and is a member of ISIS.

“Some foreign groups are behind the attack and the aim is to create distrust between the two brotherly countries (Afghanistan and Pakistan),” Zabiullah Mujahid said.

As per the official, Afghan Administration is carrying on further investigations of the attack.

Chief of Mission Ubaidur Rehman Nizamani was attacked on Friday in Pakistan Embassy in Kabul when he was taking walk.

As per reports, the guard of a diplomatic official got 3 shots in the chest.

PM Shehbaz strongly condemned the attack stating, I strongly condemn dastardly assassination attempt on Pakistan Head of Mission, Kabul. Salute to the brave security guard, who took a bullet to save his life. Prayers for the swift recovery of a security guard.

I demand immediate investigation & action against the perpetrators of this heinous act.
