Taylor Swift, who was rumored to attend the 2024 Met Gala, seems to be prioritizing her upcoming Eras Tour instead.
The Grammy-winning artist, aged 34, is scheduled to begin the European leg of her tour on May 9th, starting in Paris.
While previous reports suggested she would be at the fashion event, international sources confirms she will be skipping it to focus on tour rehearsals.
Swift, who recently released her 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” on April 19, will dedicate her time to rehearsals and tour preparations before embarking on her European tour dates.
The Met Gala, often dubbed the fashion Oscars, typically falls on the first Monday of May, which this year is on May 6th.
With just two days between the Gala and her Paris concert, it’s likely Swift will opt out.
Additionally, a report from international media sources that neither Swift nor her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, will be attending the Met Gala.
