The renowned messaging app Telegram has now introduced its own version of ‘View Once.’
Telegram users can now send videos and audio messages that will disappear after being viewed or heard once.
After recording a video or audio message users will click on the View Once icon. Subsequently the message will only be viewable once. Additionally Telegram has introduced a pause and play feature during the recording of voice and audio messages.
Similarly Telegram users will now have the ability to see when someone has viewed their messages in one-on-one chats. However users can opt to turn off this feature by accessing settings.
This latest addition to Telegram’s features aligns with the growing trend of secure and ephemeral messaging giving users more control over the content they share. As the messaging app landscape evolves, it’s clear that privacy and user experience are at the forefront of these updates.
