Three bail applications of Imran Khan postponed till Nov 06 at Anti-terrorism Court, Islamabad

The bail hearings for Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi have been rescheduled for November 6th due to the unavailability of Special Court Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain today.

These bail applications pertain to two cases in Thana Khanna and one in Bara Kahu, Islamabad, involving charges of vandalism, forced business closures, and the violation of Section 144 on March 14th, 2023. Imran Khan’s case numbers are 242 and 243 at Thana Khanna and 128 at Bara Kahu.

Furthermore, six bail applications filed by Imran Khan are scheduled for a hearing at the session and district court in Islamabad today.

There were also two bail applications against Shah Mehmood Qureshi, which have also been deferred to November 6th due to Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain’s absence.

It’s noteworthy that on October 2nd, the Islamabad High Court reinstated the bail of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in nine separate cases, overturning the decisions of various trial courts that had previously revoked his bail.
