Lodhran- In a heartbreaking incident, 24-year-old daily wage laborer Muhammad Amin lost his life while installing an election banner on an 11 KV pole near Jalalpur Mor’s railway gate. A resident of Khanewal, Amin suffered fatal electrocution upon contact with the high voltage wires.
Rescue 1122 responded swiftly, but Amin was declared dead upon being brought down from the pole. His body has been transferred to DHQ Hospital Lodhran.
Jahangir Khan Tareen expressed sincere regret and committed to supporting the deceased worker’s family. Teams from JK Sugar Mills, owned by Tareen, have already visited the family, with additional aid scheduled for tomorrow, including financial support, monthly sponsorship, and assistance for education and marriage of Amin’s sons.
