Transport dept to roll out automated fare collection system today: Sindh minister

Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon announced on Saturday that the transport department would introduce the automated fare collection system in Karachi today.

Memon emphasized that this system would enable passengers to pay their fares using smart cards, aiming to enhance convenience for the public.

Additionally, Memon recently criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), accusing them of conducting a smear campaign against institutions and engaging in social media terrorism.

He highlighted the PTI’s reluctance to negotiate and stated that despite their pleas, institutions were not inclined to make deals.

Memon also pointed out the fragmented narrative within the PTI and questioned how those who had previously targeted institutions could now seek negotiations.
