TTP member goes missing in Rawalpindi

A member of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has gone missing in Rawalpindi.

According to media reports, police have said that a member of the TTP, named Mohammad Ijaz, was placed on the fourth schedule of the Anti-Terrorism Act 1997.

The said member was living in Rawat and was supposed to report to the relevant police station about his activity and movement.

The Home Department of Punjab had put him on the fourth schedule.

According to media reports, Ijaz has been missing for the past seven days. He had left his house without informing anyone and had not returned.

The police have registered a case against him while law enforcement authorities have increased their monitoring and surveillance.
