Two killed, one injured in Peshawar ‘suicide’ blast

Two individuals lost their lives and another was injured in a blast labeled as a ‘suicide’ attack in Peshawar on Sunday morning, as per police sources.

The incident took place in Board Bazar, as confirmed by SSP Operations Kashif Aftab Abbasi. Promptly, Rescue 1122 personnel arrived at the scene to attend to the casualties, transporting them to a nearby medical facility. Law enforcement and security agencies swiftly cordoned off the area and commenced investigations. No organization has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

In a separate incident in February, five police officers were martyred and two others were injured when an explosion targeted a police vehicle in Kulachi DI Khan. The blast occurred in the Garah Aslam area, leading to the immediate transfer of the deceased and injured via helicopter to DI Khan, as per police reports.
