Two terrorists killed in D.I. Khan operation: ISPR

Two terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan, a district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to the military’s media wing on Sunday.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that security forces carried out the operation in response to information about the presence of terrorists in the area.

During the operation, a fierce exchange of gunfire occurred between the security forces and the terrorists. As a result, two terrorists, Faheem Nawaz Gandapuri and Mohsin Nawaz, were killed.

ISPR mentioned that weapons, ammunition, and explosives were found with the killed terrorists, who had been involved in various acts of terrorism against security forces and civilians, including targeted killings and extortion.

The military’s media wing also noted that a “sanitisation operation” is ongoing to ensure that no other terrorists are hiding in the area. The security forces of Pakistan are committed to eradicating terrorism from the country.
