Popular Pakistani director Badar Mehmood of ‘Balaa’ and ‘Cheekh’ fame is set to release his short film for a web-based platform.
Titled as ‘Main Shah Rukh Khan Hoon’, the film stars the versatile artist Mohsin Abbas Haider, who shared the poster for it on his Instagram, telling that it is one of his personal favourite projects as an actor and that he will be playing five different characters in it.
Accordingly, the poster also features Haider in various avatars, complementing the title of the film and suggesting that he will be playing a young guy probably idealizing the Bollywood king, something which has remained common in both India and Pakistan for over a long time.
It is for the same reason that Indian news sources have also shared the news and expressed excitement at Pakistan making a film on Shah Rukh Khan’s fandom.
According to Mohsin Abbas Haider, ‘Main Shah Rukh Khan Hoon’ will be released on a new OTT platform. The release date for it, however, has not been announced as yet. It has been written by Hamzah Haider and produced by Mujeeb Rehman, and happens to be Haider’s dream project.
