The announcement of a ban on the display of weapons for 90 days throughout Sindh has been made.
According to the notification issued by the Sindh government, police, law enforcement agencies and private security guards are exempted from this ban. Police have been empowered to lodge FIRs against those displaying weapons under Section 188.
Private security guards will have to conceal their weapons inside the vehicle after duty hours and are not allowed to display weapons in public places.
