West Indies women team win T20I series against Pakistan

The West Indies women’s cricket team secured their third consecutive T20 victory against the Pakistan women’s team, sealing the five-match series with a commanding 3-0 lead at the National Bank Stadium on Tuesday.

Despite their efforts, the green shirts fell short in chasing the target of 133 runs to claim their first win of the series.

West Indies captain Hayley Matthews showcased her exceptional form by scoring consecutive half-centuries.

In the third T20I, West Indies Women emerged victorious by a narrow margin of 2 runs against Pakistan.

Hayley Mathews led the charge with an impressive 68-run knock. Additionally, Matthews and Fletcher contributed with two wickets each.

Pakistan women’s team Captain Nida Dar managed to score 17 runs, while Alia Riaz could only muster one run.

Despite Sidra Amin’s commendable effort of 63 runs, Pakistan’s total was not enough to defend against the West Indies team’s strong performance.
