New Year: here’s to new beginnings!  “Here’s a toast to the future, a toast to the past, and a toast to our friends, far and near….”

Yayy!!! It’s New Year’s! Happy 2022!

The clock struck 12 midnight. The bells began to toll. The crowd cheered as the fireworks exploded! Colours of red, green, blue and orange lit up the sky.

New Year’s is the time where people make a resolution for the better. They promise to head towards a brighter future. Each person makes a different resolution depending upon their priority.

Some may stick to a resolution as simple as to cut down on their weight. Some may want to do better at work. Some may promise not to shop excessively. Whilst others may want to turn over a new leaf such as become a better person.

What is important is to hold onto the resolution you have made. Determination and consistency coupled with the effort and will to sustain the vows that you have made is what is pivotal for following the goals you have set for yourself.

The new year marks a new beginning. It is a sign to put behind the mistakes of your past and start afresh with bigger, more positive goals. It emphasizes to learn from your failures and move forward to a better and more productive life.

It is a day of excitement, of warmth and of love. It is a chance to remember and commemorate with your friends, relatives, acquaintances and colleagues.

So here’s a toast to New Year! To new beginnings! To friends and family!

What is new year? How can we define it?

It is:

‘A time to say goodbye and a time to say hello!’

It is a time to reflect and be grateful. It is a time to have fun and make commitments. It is a time to forgive and forget. And it is a time to cache on new opportunities to mould yourself into what you want to be.

So go out there and become wild! For on this day there are no boundaries, no limitations. Start the day with a bang! Party all you want to now because as the new year approaches you will have tasks to complete and goals to achieve.

Wish you all a very happy new year!
