According to reliable sources, Ranveer Singh has always been a favorite actor of Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, with whom he has collaborated on various successful films like “Dil Dhadakne Do” and “Gully Boy.”
The source revealed that Singh has been finalized to carry forward the legacy of Don, and this decision was also discussed with Khan. Furthermore, it has been reported that the makers have already filmed a promotional video with Singh, which includes an announcement for the future film DON 3.
The production banner, Excel Entertainment, owned by Farhan and Sidhwani, acquired the rights to the 1978 Amitabh Bachchan film “Don.” With Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film “Baiju Bawra,” Ranveer Singh’s career is set to reach new heights as a blockbuster hit.
The Don franchise was revived in 2006 with the first movie titled “Don: The Chase Begins Again,” where Shahrukh Khan played the lead role.
