X will introduce YouTube challenger app soon

New York: X (Twitter) is soon set to unveil an application challenging the streaming giant YouTube.

According to American media outlets, the microblogging website X (Twitter) and its experts are busy developing an application for X’s YouTube challenger with Elon Musk confirming its development.

Reports indicate that Elon Musk and X’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) have confirmed during discussions with various media outlets that they are working on introducing an application to rival YouTube.

Initially, the mentioned application by X will be integrated into smart televisions followed by its availability for mobile and desktop users as well.

The primary objective behind introducing the said application for smart televisions is to provide an option for viewers to watch lengthy videos uploaded on X on their TV screens. The application will be linked with X meaning all major videos uploaded there can be viewed on the TV screen through the app.

It has been suggested in the report that in the future, this application may also be offered for content creators similar to YouTube enabling monetization like YouTube but this could take some time.

It’s not clear when X will introduce the YouTube challenger application nor what its name will be. However, there is a possibility that it could be unveiled by the end of the current year.
