Stop workers from criticizing the new Army Chief, President Alvi warns Khan

President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi has warned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan about criticizing new Army Chief Gen. Asim Munir.

As per media reports, President Alvi repeatedly sternly warned former Prime Minister Imran Khan to stop party workers, leaders, and social media teams to stop criticizing the newly appointed Army Chief Gen. Asim Munir.

President Alvi also warned PTI chairman Khan that Army’s honour is the red line and it should not be crossed.

Khan received a communication from the president in which he was instructed to rigorously abide by the directive not to criticize the new army leader in any arena.

Fawad Chaudhry, the spokesperson for PTI, stated that there will be no criticism of the current military structure or the Army Chief and that there will be no conflict with the institution.
