The world is sick and tired of wars: Bilawal Bhutto

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday stated that the world is sick and tired of indulging in war and conflicts.

While giving an interview with the Indonesian channel, the Foreign Minister said that we can only help but ultimately the fate of Afghanistan is in the hands of the people of Afghanistan.

He said the Issue of women’s power and empowerment is important for us and both countries are working together on it.

“We also think that the foundation of any society starts from women’s empowerment. Pakistan is the first Muslim nation with a female prime minister.”

According to Bilawal, Pakistan and Indonesia should collaborate more frequently than they do. “We have greater potential in terms of our bilateral relationships. Imagine the collective power achieved when the largest and second-largest Muslim nations collaborate across all fields and capacities.”

He stated that we have our own experience of fighting extremism when responding to a question on terrorism.

“There are many things that need to be addressed such as extremism, terrorism, and rise in Islamophobia.”

While responding to a query regarding Pakistan and Afghanistan’s current relationship, he stated that our mission, led by Hina Rabbani, had successful discussions with Afghan ministries.

“No one wants Afghanistan to be a hotbed or launching pad for terrorist attacks in the region.”

Bilawal said that Pakistan is optimistic that the new interim government, which has been in place for a year, will address the problem and offer security.
