PIA shifts Lahore bound flights from 10 pm to 11 am to Islamabad due to fog

The National Airlines has shifted international flights from 10 pm to 11 am to Islamabad due to dense fog in Lahore.

According to details international operating flights of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) from 10 pm to 11 am have been shifted to Islamabad due to fog and low visibility at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore.

PIA spokesman has said that the transfer of flights has been done to save passengers from long waits and the transfer is temporary. It was also said that the situation will return to normal when the fog subsides.

According to the spokesman, the transfer of flights will be implemented from tonight and passengers should contact the call centre for information about flights.

It may be recalled that due to heavy fog for the last few days many domestic and foreign flights were being delayed at Lahore Airport.
