Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf has been appointed as the honorary DSP of Islamabad Police.
IG Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan awarded Haris Rauf the rank of DSP.
Islamabad Police shared a video of Haris Rauf on his Twitter account, in which they wrote, “Pakistan cricket team’s legendary player Haris Rauf has been appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador of Islamabad Capital Police. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan has appointed Haris Rauf as the deputy superintendent of police (DSP).”
Earlier, Fast Bowler Naseem Shah was appointed honorary DSP of police by Balochistan Police while fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi was made honorary DSP by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police.
