Aleem Khan calls Manshera-Gilgit-Baltistan motorway ‘game-changer’

Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan announced on Sunday that the new motorway from Mansehra to Gilgit-Baltistan will be a “game-changer” for the area.

Aleem Khan visited Gilgit-Baltistan and met with Chief Minister Gulbar Khan. They discussed several critical issues, including the state of the Karakoram Highway and upcoming tunnel projects.

Aleem Khan stated, “Transport problems will be solved. I want to be Gilgit-Baltistan’s representative. Gilgit-Baltistan is our home, and the motorway from Mansehra to Gilgit-Baltistan will change everything.”

He believes that better roads can transform the region’s future. Aleem Khan added, “Millions of tourists will visit this area.”

He also mentioned that the motorway police would be stationed in Gilgit-Baltistan and that they would work on improving the Karakoram Highway and Skardu Road.

The Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan emphasized the importance of enhancing the Karakoram Highway and Skardu Road. He said, “Having motorway police is crucial to reduce the rising number of accidents on the Karakoram Highway.”
