Only the Maryam Nawaz government continues to detain the political leaders in one case and another when they are freed on bail in one case. Lahore Police have re-arrested PTI leader Aliya Hamza and social media activist Sanam Javed in connection with a case registered in Mianwali.
Authorities at the jail have confirmed that both women leaders will be presented before the anti-terrorism court where police are expected to request remand for Sanam Javed and Aliya Hamza.
It may be noted that the anti-terrorism court had previously granted bail to PTI leader Alia Hamza and Sanam Javed in the case related to the attack on Shadman police station on May 9.
