Pakistani-American musician Arooj Aftab announced the debut of her first music video, “Raat Ki Rani,” directed by American actor Tessa Thompson, via Instagram.
Thompson, known for her roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and “Creed,” makes her directorial debut with this project.
Aftab expressed excitement about the collaboration, praising Thompson’s inspiration and professionalism. The music video release is highly anticipated by both artists.

Aftab had previously shared behind-the-scenes footage from the shoot on Instagram.
Additionally, Aftab is scheduled to perform at the Glastonbury Festival in the UK from June 26-30 and has been honored with a Pride of Performance award. She made history as the first Pakistani musician to perform at the Grammy Awards.
