Asad Qaiser urges KP CM to sever ties with federal government

Asad Qaiser, a prominent figure within the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, has called for the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) to sever ties with the federal government.

Qaiser emphasized that despite numerous requests, the federal government has failed to meet any demands or appoint a single officer as per KP’s requests.

In a statement, Qaiser stressed that this is not the time for reconciliation but for resistance.

He asserted the need to uphold the rule of law and announced plans to initiate a significant movement in the near future.

Qaiser also highlighted the issue of threats faced by judges of the High Court, emphasizing the responsibility of the Supreme Court to ensure their protection.

Accusing Shahbaz Sharif of being involved in the harassment of judges, Qaiser underscored that both the Tehreek-e-Insaf party and the judiciary have endured harassment over the past two years.

He praised the courage of six judges from the Islamabad High Court, referring to them as heroes of the nation.

Furthermore, Qaiser called for the formation of a judicial commission to investigate these matters thoroughly.
