Aseefa Bhutto, daughter of Asif Zardari, has become a Member of the National Assembly (MNA) for NA-207 without any competition.
Initially, 11 candidates applied to run in the election. But only four, including Aseefa Bhutto, were approved after checking their papers.
Today, the other three candidates competing against Ms. Bhutto withdrew their papers.
This happened because Asif Zardari, Aseefa Bhutto’s father, became President of Pakistan, leaving the NA-207 seat vacant.
With no one contesting against her, Aseefa Bhutto secures her position as the MNA for NA-207.
