Ayushmann Khurrana dumped Tahira Kashyap after ‘Roadies’ win?

Bollywood actor-singer Ayushmann Khurrana recently disclosed that he ended his relationship with his now-wife and childhood friend, Tahira Kashyap, after winning season 2 of the adventure reality show ‘Roadies’ in 2004.

Reflecting on his past during a recent appearance on a YouTube show, Ayushmann Khurrana admitted that the sudden fame and attention from other girls became overwhelming for him at the age of 16 or 17.

“It’s very challenging to cope with fame at such a young age,” Khurrana shared.

“I remember breaking up with my then-girlfriend because I was receiving attention from other girls.

During that phase of experiencing fame and popularity, being the most popular guy in Chandigarh at the time, I decided to end things with Tahira, thinking I wanted to explore life.”

However, he later realized his mistake and regretted his decision. “After six months, I went back to her and confessed, ‘I can’t do this anymore, I can’t be a f*** boy,'” he recalled.

Ayushmann Khurrana eventually tied the knot with filmmaker and journalism teacher Tahira Kashyap in 2008. Together, they have two children, a son, and a daughter.

In 2018, Kashyap was diagnosed with breast cancer but was declared cancer-free in 2020 after undergoing treatment.
