According to reports from rescue sources, a tragic incident unfolded on Zafar Pathak, where a worker’s bus veered off the road and plunged into a ditch. The aftermath of the accident resulted in 10 individuals sustaining injuries, with two others listed in critical condition, as confirmed by rescue personnel.
Prior to this incident, another devastating accident occurred near the Salt Range in the Chakwal district, claiming the lives of at least 12 people while leaving 65 others injured. Rescue sources indicated that a passenger bus lost control due to a tire burst, leading to its descent into a ditch, resulting in fatalities and injuries among the passengers.
Upon receiving distress calls, law enforcement and rescue teams swiftly mobilized to the scene of the accidents, initiating immediate rescue operations. Injured passengers were promptly transported to a nearby medical facility to receive urgent medical attention and treatment.
Adding to the recent string of tragedies, a fatal collision between a pickup van and an overspeeding oil tanker claimed the life of the van’s driver in Nawabshah last week. The collision, occurring on the National Highway, resulted in the immediate demise of the van driver. Following the collision, traffic was halted as the overturned oil tanker blocked the roadway.
In response to the incident, law enforcement and rescue personnel promptly arrived at the scene to manage the situation, facilitating the transportation of the deceased driver’s body to the hospital for further procedures and investigation.
