CAA unions oppose outsourcing of Pakistan airports

Employee Unions at the Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan (CAA) strongly opposed the decision to outsource Pakistan’s airports during a meeting held at the CAA headquarters.

The unions made it clear that they are against the outsourcing initiative, expressing their dissent openly.

Sources revealed that union representatives voiced their objections during the meeting, showing a united front against the outsourcing plans.

Officials from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) were present and questioned the union representatives about their position on the matter. In response, union officials reaffirmed their opposition to the outsourcing proposal, which dates back to its introduction in 2016.

They emphasized the negative impact such a move would have on the country and the integrity of the institution. The meeting involved union leaders, IFC officials, and the Director HRCAA, engaging in thorough discussions on the issue.
