‘Caravan of loyalty’ expresses solidarity with embattled PM

Haleem Adil Sheikh says Karachiites have pronounced their judgment in favour of Imran Khan

Aimed at expressing solidarity with Prime Minister Imran Khan on the eve of no-confidence motion, the ‘Karavan-e-Wafa’ or caravan of loyalty visited different areas of Karachi for a second consecutive day on Saturday.

The caravan was organized by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh leadership to reaffirm its resolve for the development and prosperity of Pakistan.

Led by Opposition Leader in the Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Shekih and PTI Karachi president Bilal Abdul Ghaffar, the caravan set out from the Korangi area before passing through Landhi, Quaidabad, Malir, Sohrab Goth and other areas where PTI workers and a large number of people welcomed it by showering petals and raising slogans in support of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

A camp was also organized at the starting point of the caravan by MPA Raja Azhar and other PTI leaders.

Haleem Adil Sheikh, Bilal Gaffar and other PTI leaders distributed pamphlets to raise awareness among the people about the current political situation of the country, Imran Khan’s point of view on internal and external issues being confronted by the nation and the achievements of Imran Khan-led PTI government in different sectors.

Haleem Adil Sheikh while speaking to the public and media persons said that the people of Karachi have expressed confidence in “courageous and selfless leadership of Imran Khan”.

He said that the PTI will make big gains in the next elections in Karachi.

He added that the people of Pakistan will come to know today (Sunday) who is sincere to them and who is working on foreign agenda.

“Traitors had been exposed before the nation and Imran Khan will thwart their conspiracies after coming out of the foreign-funded crisis with the support of the people of Pakistan. PM Imran Khan will be triumphant and opponents will fall in their own trap,” he added.

He also criticized Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Asif for saying that “Pakistan’s economy cannot survive without the United States”.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has reinvigorated the national spirit and now the entire nation is fervently responding to the call of the captain, Haleem Adil said. He censured Shehbaz Sharif for calling Pakistanis “beggars”.

Bilal Gaffar said that the “people of Karachi have pronounced their judgment in the favour of Imran Khan and they are committed to failing the foreign-funded agenda”.

He also came down hard on Shehbaz Sharif and said that the PML-N leadership was cowardly and its only motive was to strike a “deal” to save its skin.

Referring to PTI’s victory in the second phase of local government elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, PTI MPA Raja Azhar said that masses from across the country were extending their support to PM Imran Khan.
