Cases against me were false and politically motivated, says Ishaq Dar

Ishaq Dar has said that cases against him were false and politically motivated, days before his supposed return to the country.

Talking to media persons in London, former finance minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader said that everyone was aware of the crisis that Pakistan has gone through during the past four years.

He added that he would be joining the same office again after a time span of four years, and would be starting from where he had left.

He showed resolve that as per the vision of his party supremo Nawaz Sharif, he would be able to guide Pakistan to a direction where it could grow as a big economy of the world.

He further said that there was highest growth in decades and other macro indicators including rupee-dollar parity were at the best.

He also said that the main task would be to stop the declining Pakistani economy and guide it into a new direction of growth and prosperity.

Calling the cases against him fake and politically motivated, he said that he was booked in fake case of not depositing tax although he had never delayed tax payments due on him.
