The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) successfully neutralized eight terrorists in Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan).
Among the eliminated terrorists is the notorious figure Jahanzeb, who was on the most-wanted list. These individuals were involved in various criminal activities, including targeted killings, assaults on security forces, and recent attacks on customs officials.
CTD officials revealed that one civilian, a girl, tragically lost her life due to terrorist gunfire aimed at customs police. The terrorists had intentions to disrupt any movement, but their escape routes have been effectively blocked.
Furthermore, CTD has noted indications of local facilitators aiding the terrorists. Strict measures are being implemented against these facilitators to curb their support for terrorist activities.
