Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has lashed out at officers protesting against the deduction of executive allowance.
DMG and OMG Group officers of the Finance Division protested in front of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar against the 50 percent deduction of executive allowance.
The officers demanded that the executive allowance be kept at 150 percent but the Federal Minister lashed out at the protesting officers.
Talking to the protesting officers, Ishaq Dar said that whatever they have to do but additional allowance could not be given. He said that for the first time in 25 years, the officers of the Finance Ministry were protesting for the allowance, you should be ashamed of it.
He said that a wrong decision was taken to give 150 percent allowances. He asked the protestors to go and talk to the Finance Secretary.
