Deputy PM Dar confirms Saudi crown prince MBS visit to Pakistan

The Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman is set to visit Pakistan, as confirmed by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

Dar announced on Wednesday that Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman is expected to make a visit to Pakistan in the near future, with the final dates for the visit likely to be confirmed this month.

Addressing the media at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad, Dar stated, “InshaAllah, the visit is due, and I believe we may receive final dates from Saudi Arabia anytime in May.”

This visit marks the first time in five years that the Saudi crown prince, also known as MBS, will visit Pakistan. His last visit to the country occurred in February 2019, during Imran Khan’s tenure as prime minister.

Dar mentioned that during a recent meeting in Makkah, Pakistan’s delegation had the opportunity to meet with the Saudi crown prince. He further added that the crown prince assured Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of his imminent visit to Pakistan.
